Privacy on this site

This site collects almost nothing, because it does almost nothing. Here is exactly what happens when you visit, in the order it happens.

There is no form and no list

Baselined has no newsletter, no sign-up box, no quote request and no account. Nothing on this site asks for your email address, and there is no mailing list behind the scenes. If you write to the desk, your email is used to answer you and is not added to anything.

We mention this first because it removes most of what a privacy page usually has to explain.

What the server records

Like any web server, the host that serves these pages keeps standard request logs: the page requested, the time, an IP address, a referrer if your browser sends one, and a user-agent string. These are used to keep the site up and to spot problems, and they are not combined with anything else or used to build a profile of you.

Cookies

Nothing on this domain writes a cookie from our side. It runs no advertising network, no behavioural tracking and no third-party analytics script that follows you between sites.

Some outbound links to training providers are affiliate links, written as /go/ followed by the provider’s name. Following one sends you to that provider, and the provider may set its own cookie so that a later purchase is attributed to this site. That cookie is theirs, on their domain, under their privacy policy — not ours, and we never see who you are.

We do receive aggregate reporting from those programmes: how many clicks and how many purchases, without names. The commercial arrangement itself is described on the affiliate disclosure.

Several pages link to PMI, Scrum Alliance and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics as sources. Those are ordinary links, earn us nothing, and take you to organisations with their own privacy policies. We recommend reading a source rather than trusting our summary of it, so these links exist on purpose.

Fonts and files

Typefaces, images and stylesheets are served from this site’s own domain. There is no font CDN call, no embedded video player and no social widget, so loading a page here does not announce your visit to a third party.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children. The subject is professional certification for working adults.

Changes, and how to check

If this page changes, the change will be visible in the page itself rather than announced, since there is no list to announce it to. Questions go to the desk.
